The UCR Post Graduate Program is a nine month program, providing students with six months of on-campus instruction and three months of internships. Following program completion, OPT will be granted for up to one year, to students who wish to seek relevant employment in the United States. These benefits, along with personal academic guidance and recommendation letters, will better prepare students who want to continue pursuing a higher degree of education such as a Master’s degree or PhD.

The University Transfer Program is an option for students who do not meet the admission requirements for direct acceptance into the university. Students in the University Transfer Program will complete two years of study at University of California, Riverside, providing students with the prerequisites needed to further their studies. Upon completion of the program, students can choose to continue their studies at the UCR or transfer to another institution of their choice.

The UCR Direct Acceptance Program provides prospective students with one of two options: a direct entry to UCR, or admission to UCR through a UC-approved high-school. Upon admission, students will be presented with a list of recommended and required courses, tailored to meet the educational requirements of each student's program of study.
